Today my Aunt showed me a rock that my cousin found or rediscovered a few years ago when clearing out timber. It has these holes carved into it. When my cousin found it, the biggest hole had a red rock placed inside and several arrowheads on the ground around it. We think the holes may have been made by the Choctaw Indians who used to farm on the land. Not sure what the purpose of it served however. Any thoughts?

Likely tools to feeding themselves. Life was basic then. May you be well.
Interesting, thanks
